We love Pam because she knows it’s her fault (it’s also Henry’s fault, but he doesn’t know it). In today’s Friday Feature, we revisit the tragedy of Pamela Fitzgerald in Ginger Snaps. Published October 31, 2025.

At the dinner table, Pam questioningly looks on at her daughter Ginger in the movie Ginger Snaps

Pam’s Night Out (Ginger Snaps, 2000)

Pam Fitzgerald is still at that Halloween party. She went there to gather her girls, torch the house and hit the road. Her husband Henry wouldn’t understand. Let him burn.

Alas, Ginger and Brigitte go back to the house with Sam, Ginger mauls Sam, Brigitte tries to eat what’s left of him, and Ginger chooses the knife over the cure.

Pam sees her daughters but can’t break their pact. Death drive is buried in the family structure, just like Trina Sinclair is buried in the backyard.

No one’s making it out of Bailey Downs whole.

Pam elbows through the party, looking for her girls.
